John Davey is a seasoned energy conservation professional with a diverse career spanning multiple sectors and international experiences. Currently serving as a Program Manager for Residential Space Heat at Puget Sound Energy in Seattle, Washington, John utilizes his extensive background in energy conservation to tackle modern infrastructure and sustainability challenges.

Before joining Puget Sound Energy, John worked as an Energy Conservation Analyst at Tacoma Power, where he played a key role in advancing energy efficiency programs. His career in energy conservation began with Eco Consulting, where he held various positions, including Program Manager and Business Development Manager. He also served as a Product Manager at the green startup EarthUP, focusing on innovative solutions within the energy sector.

John’s professional journey includes a significant international dimension. He co-founded and managed Babushka Grand Hostels in Odessa, Ukraine, establishing a network of youth hostels that was impacted by regional political upheaval. This led John to transition to roles supporting journalists and refugees during times of conflict. His early career also included transformative experiences working at a therapeutic wilderness program, which has helped him approach professional challenges with compassion.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, John earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Redlands and now resides in the Pacific Northwest with his family.
